Born from the chaos that dwells in my closet after trying to take out a garment from the bottom of it and causing half of my wardrobe to collapse at my feet; this outfit gathers, in my opinion, the ideal balance between the classics and trendy pieces to go from a casual Friday at the office to the bar for drinks without changing a thing.

So, why was this born from an accident when double denim is as feasible as a total black look? Because sometimes you swear yourself you have nothing to wear anymore (that’s me every weekend) until you see your clothes on the floor, and then you realise you must make work what you already got and there’s no need to succumb to the sales (or at least, not as much as your impulses tell you to do so).

  1. Hi Adriana,

I think great style is when you can fully manipulate fashion and make it your own, make the pieces tell your story for you. You’ve done exactly that with this look. It’s actually one of your talents. Looking through all your outfits, you manage to make all the affordably-priced pieces look just as high-end of your designer pieces. It’s seamless, effortless. There’s a lot of denim-on-denim looks, but I feel like you’ve put a unique spin on it here (the belt, the blatant half-tuck, the frayed hem) that’s really refreshing.
