Taking life slowly

While normal people bring keychains and postals as souvenirs from New York, I brought one of the worst jetlags ever after an intense week of fashion week, and today the only thing I can think of is to take life slowly this weekend.

Urban life is, to my eyes, the best kind of lifestyle. The noise, the lights, the adrenaline about the exciting new things you get to see and those irrational conversations with strangers in the subway are some of the things that keep me living in a place like Barcelona, but from time to time is good to leave a day or two on your agenda to turn off your phone, talk to the people you really care about and appreciate the little things in life which are mostly free, like a strong laugh, the grass on your feet or losing yourself for hours within a book. Happy weekend, don’t forget to turn off your phone.

“We need to reclaim time, to have time on our hands, time to waste, time for unplanned conversation, time for biding our time.”

A picnic that costs you nothing but the ingredients in your fridge. Take them on a jar, a blanket, a magazine/book, a comfy outfit and your beach bag (it doesn’t have to be a picnic bag but if you have one I’ll be jealous ’cause I couldn’t find one) and lie down for hours. Doing nothing sometimes is the best reward.

  4. Love this look, Aimee! You can never go wrong with an all black look, it always looks so chic and sophisticated, perfect for NYFW! I can’t believe that those shoes were comfy enough to wear all day! It’s so funny because with my experience the shoes that I have the look the most uncomfortable are the ones I find the comfiest, lol! http://www.topshandbagshop.com

Overall I think this nails can be a lifesaver for those moments when you really want to get your nails done but you don’t have time to do it or wait after it, or also if you need a quick solution when you have a broken nail too but I probably won’t use them all the time to replace nail polish. I have to admit that while I was wearing the nails I received a lot of compliments from people that thought I was wearing real acrylic nails, nothing bad considering you can get them for about $8 at walgreens.
