Versactive

ONE STEP AT A TIME. ONE SILLY NAME AGAIN.

If there’s a thing I like the most and it’s pretty obvious from the blog’s name (which, by the way, I stopped liking five years ago*) it’s the texture that leather (or faux leather) imprints on any outfit. Its glossiness and weight are preferred -but not exclusive- to low-temperatured seasons, unless steamed thighs are your thing. I don’t judge. You do you.

The play of textures achievable with leather is also pretty wide. In this case, making it casual with the help of a graphic sweatshirt and sun-dried hair is what I’ve been wearing on the last couple of weeks, which I can summarise in both marathonic and bland. What can you wear when you have ahead days of fourteen hours of work, studies and chores? Versactive. Something I just made up with versatile + active and, just like the name of this blog, I’ll probably realise it’s a silly name within a couple of years.

Yo no juzgo.

Around the waist for max versatility. Only recommended if your coat is far from being new.

  4. I’m STILL looking for my own perfect leather jacket – but finding the perfect fake leather jacket would be even more perfect. (Also can’t wait for it to be “far from being new” as I do like the around-the-waist look!)

I find it interesting that you don’t like your blog’s name. I don’t think it’s silly at all, but I suppose some of us tend to be our own worst critic. FYI, you know I’m a BIG fan of your blog; I just love your elegant casual style, your photography and I always relate to your well-written words. The first time I discovered your blog I was reading a post in which you talked about the “stigma” of being a fashion blogger; your words just resonated with me and I immediately shared that on my Facebook page!

And you know what, I really don’t like MY blog’s name. When I first came up with it I was like “ah it’s so cute I love it” and now I constantly wish to change it!

Lindo!

  12. Amazing look. We 100% agree. Leather can be mixed in any look and always rules the best.
