Winter Wishlist

12
I still remember the first time I made an online purchase. I was fourteen years old and it was a dress from a Japanese brand I couldn’t buy in my country. Between nervousness, scare of being scammed and how complicated it was to manage payments back then without Paypal, it took me a month to decide whether it was worth it or not. Then, when it finally arrived at home in a plain, tasteless carton box that could have contained kitchen utensils or car’s repair parts, there it was: my dream dress between silk paper and a note in Japanese from my favorite store at the time.

It’s been for more than a decade that shopping is not the same anymore, now the Japanese store I’m telling you about has its own english webshop with express shipping, customer service and a shop linked to Instagram. And I couldn’t be any happier, because even though that store isn’t my style anymore, I find it’s never been so easy to shop online for me and my beloved ones. Along social media we’re in the moment where many designers and brands, indistinctly of the size of their following, launch collections exclusively online in order to attract the public they care the most about, that is, you guys who read me and myself.

A MERRY
EBAY SEASON
From discontinued, limited edition items to Spring 2018 must-haves,
lavender notes, affordable trinkets and iconic pieces
you’ll treasure for years in a few clicks away.
My favorites for these seasons include a mixture
of textures in vibrant colors and subtle tones, a touch
of lipstick and a very cinched waist. And florals,
’cause they might not be the most grounbreaking
but they always remind us of the sunny side of life.
Erdem x HM floral coat, Dolce & Gabbana Bellucci Mamma pumps
Dyptique Eau D’Elide eau de toilette limited edition, 3.1 Phillip Lim Alix handbag
Gold hoop earrings, Zara checked skirt
Maison Martin Margiela camel wide belt, Chanel Rouge Coco in “Gabrielle” red
Warehouse navy patent trench coat, Mango over the knee red boots
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum, Coach Tea Rose bag
For those reasons and in collaboration with eBay, I share with you my wishlist for this and the next season featuring favorites that have already vanish from the shop’s racks and some designer pieces at a great price from the comfort of your home. Pieces I consider are the perfect gift for someone who’s very into fashion and, why not, as an self-gift for a perfect way to end 2017. Take your measurement tape, be sure to read the feedback from sellers and open your Payapl account, because if it’s in the world, it’s on eBay (and for a much better price).

Wearing: H&M floral dress (sold out but available here on eBay), Erdem x H&M checked coat (sold out but same one on eBay), Mango red kitten heels (similar ones on eBay), tje. earrings, Uterqüe belt

  2. Okay, so I love the first photo so much, I am contemplating on putting it as my phone background. {in a completely non creepy way, I swear}. And I do most of my purchases on eBay as well because some sites either don’t include tracking number or they charge hella on the shipping. And both you and I know what happens when I don’t have a tracking number in my country. :'(
Am I really living in the 21st century? #cries

  3. Amé los heels de Mango !

  5. It may sound odd but I have never ordered anything off ebay o.o Maybe one day!

    • You should try it :D it’s like Amazon but you get the chance to bid on pretty good items, so you might get them for way cheaper ;)

  6. It’s nice to sometimes get a gift for yourself. I have some interesting ideas and it will be fun to implement them. I like your inspiration especially the checkered skirt and the red purse.
